i've used a few different pre workout supp. The first one i used years ago was Jack3d. Lately ive used C4 and MP Assault.

Assault says it is safe for kidney and liver function "even in chronic use cases". The others usually say something like "do not take this product for more than 8 consecutive weeks".

I like C4 alot, but im going to stop using it in favor of Assault. Why do most of those pre-workouts make you do that? Whats in them that is unhealthy?

On a side note, my wife likes the pre's too. I just ordered her something new to me, the ON pre...cause it doesnt have creatine. Anyone have a female friend using pre's, and what do they like?

I only take MP Assault on Oly days. I use to take another pre work out, Myprotein Pulse before every training session. I just take a bunch of BCAA pre and during workouts now as well.

I like the pre, esp at 5:30am. I actually like assault too...except for the taste. I have orange mango and it tastes like water right from someone's sphinter. And it doesnt mix well, takes a ton of water. Im going to order a diff flavor tonight im just hating choking down that ass water...but i will stay with that brand b/c it is scrupposebly safer in the long run.
