It's actually a top secret pipeline, running from the Venezuelan oil fields to the bottom of the Gulf, where they allegedly "found" oil. Chavez will discover this fact any day now, and announce it to the world.......along with the fact that we plan on invading his pissant little country and/or plan to assassinate him. Plus Elvis isn't dead, that's just another conspiracy.....and UFO's are real, but the USAF keeps shooting them down, and burying them in Nevada.......and let's not forget that Katrina was only a category one storm until the Bush administration made it grow to a category 5......in order to blow up the berms surrounding NOLA, to flood out all the poor folks that couldn't leave......

Heaven forbid someone make a joke about christian conservatives or religion...

If we can't do that in this country George Carlin will have to find a new line of work.
The difference between you and George Carlin in this case is that Carlin's jokes are actually intelligent, while yours belonged in P&N.

Well, this thread isn't in P&N, it is in OT which is why I posted that response. I didn't see any negative response to it in any case...well, other than it being arbitrarily deleted.

You don't have a humorous bone in your body do you?

God saw how Katrina affected the US economy and decided to put it there to reward us for electing GWB and focusing on Christian conservative values.

The great thing about science isn't how it's always right. It's how when it's proven to be wrong, it corrects itself, instead of stubbornly sticking to the same flawed position.
Every scientist acknowledges that our current understanding of various phenomena may well be flawed...but until a better theory can be proposed, it stands.
