I'm supposed to write a little bit of information on logarithms and exponents and they seem like they are the same thing. Are there any differences that I should be aware of?

The whole internet is at your finger tips yet you ask here.

A truly OT question and you whine about it?

yeah, they're just two different ways to write the same thing

ie: x^y = z or log(base x) z = y

A logarithm of a number y is the exponent x with base a such that y=a

the human body runs on logs. As a bio/zoo student I find it interesting.

music is log based, maybe why all humans love it.

well dB is the given

I can't find an easily referenced source on the rest of it all, but I am not spending my time on it...my main project right now is to find my 'indentured servant' a laptop for Christmas. ;)
