I watched one episode. I'm a fan of the HBO/Showtime shows. I thought it would be an interesting look into the homosexual scene. I'm open-minded - so I thought. The episode I saw showed a gay guy teching his 17-year-old boyfriend what a rim job is. Never watched it again. In fact, after a few episodes of Family Business, I canceled Showtime all together.

What percentage of the population is gay, about 2%? 50% are women (and women do 80% of purchasing), so Lifetime is surely profitable. Queer as Folk has to be funny to non-gays or it'd be financially unfeasible.
