So, I Shopped at a few other places and price wise they had a slightly better mattress then Costco (at the time) for slightly more but got delivery included. I think most mattress chains will negotiate price, unlikely to 'match' since most places carry a different model of the same mattress but you can get them to come down if you talk to them.

Good luck, remember you'll likely be sleeping on it every night for a long time so don't cheap out.
I compared local chains to Costco and found Costco's price on a queen was about $150 less for the exact same mattress.

I got the brochure describing the contents and spring count and stuff from the mattress kiosk near the Costco entrance. I then went to the mattress stores and figured out which mattress was the same one based on what they were made of. I seems that mattress companies put different names on the same mattress depending on the retailer.

I've had my Costco mattress for a year and a half. The wife and I are very happy with it.
