End of story. So again, why are you attempting to compare the two? Was it ignorance or dishonesty?

We have a natural right to decide what goes into our bodies. That right predates all known governments and laws.

That is unless you know of a government that is over 200k years old?

Remind me where she is at?

Isn't she being held against her will?

Nobody is forcing that nurse to vaccinate herself. She may choose to vaccinate herself so that she is attractive enough for employers to retain.

Do you even remember what you're trying to argue anymore?

Looks like NJ officials have removed their heads from their asses

Nurse Kaci Hickox to be released from New Jersey Ebola quarantine: officials

State health officials say the 33-year-old has been 'symptom free' for 24 hours. But Hickox denies she ever showed symptoms of Ebola after returning from Sierra Leone and blasted the policy instituted by Gov. Chris Christie.

My stance has always been on the rights of the individual.

Your stance wavers from time to time. Your opinion is like a stench of a dead skunk on the side of the road as it moves as the wind blows.

As you have posted in various other threads, civil rights stop when public health is involved. So you should have no issue with the state quarantining the nurse.

Lying as in how?

That you approve of forcing someone to do something against their will to protect the general public?

I've already detailed how you're being deliberately dishonest here. I'm not engaging on it any more with someone who is so committed to lying.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/ebola-o...ng-from-liberia-placed-in-isolation-in-italy/

They apparently were met by Carabinieri in full hazmat suits. If the policy remains in effect, everyone returning from Liberia - several hundred - will be placed in isolation for 21 days. Thirty are expected in today, Martin reports.

The soldiers being monitored include Maj. Gen. Darryl Williams who was the commander of the U.S. Army in Africa but turned over duties to the 101st Airborne Division over the weekend, Martin reports. There are currently 11 soldiers in isolation.

And if you do not catch the flu you do not need a flu vaccine. But yet you are a-ok with mandatory vaccines.

You can not have it both ways. You can not trample one persons civil rights, and then say another persons rights should be upheld.

As posted in various threads, when it comes to public health you have no rights. You do not have a right to expose others.

Still haven't found that seaman to enjoy the spray on your face with?

I like how the "small government" conservatives in this thread are so eager to suspend the bill of rights and detain an american citizen without a clear medical reason and without providing them due recompense for such detainment. I suppose since the bill or rights only applies to giant corporations and lobbies.

So why don't you guys just drop the pretense and come out for what you really are - small minded fear driven troglodytes.

As a side bonus this is turning out to be a giant egg in the face for that fat fuck Christie. Looks like the writing is clear on the wall for 2016. Can't wait to see him run and self destruct spectacularly.

Can you show us one that indicate it's necessary/useful?

Also, can you show why the bill of rights should be suspended for such a person without fair recompense for said detainment, especially when done so against the advice of medical professionals and the CDC?

Why are you guys so eager to run toward authoritarianism?

you do realize we are talking about ebola, right?

Did you read the thread? Or even part of the thread?

Did you see the part about the doctor in new york feeling "sluggish" while he was out and about the town?

Are you going to tell with 100% certainty that the doctor was not infectious while he was on the subway and later bowling?

How much of a fever does someone need with ebola to be infectious? 99? 100? 101? 102? 103?
