For the quake live players, is this normal for graphics or is my card on the way out?

It does that on the walls in shady spots and looks like that through the menus. Seems to be wherever there is a transparency.

edit: Yeah it's my card. Messing up in FFXI as well. Thing is like less than a year old too.

i don't get it, do i get to play against other people? it keeps matching me up with crash- the bot for a test match. i finished it and it makes me do the same thing again...

Try this: http://beta.quakelive.com/beta/add/ if that does not work, go to the forums -> Site News -> Give the gift (thread which should be about 4 or 5 threads down) and click on the link in the OP.

also i can't fucking play the game because my character keeps going in 1 direction without me even touching the keyboard. its like the key gets stuck. this is with a logitech g15, a gaming keyboard.
