Quad SLI available

$870 for the cards used in QuadSLI. That gives you 2 x G71 cores clocked at 500Mhz and 2 x 512MB Vram.


now if you go full Quad SLI this is obviously the only card u can do it with. Anyone hoping to get a single slot SLI solution for better value than normal SLI may be disappointed. Performance of this card would be higher than a GT(450Mhz) but slower than a GTX(650Mhz)

7900GT SLI $600
7900GTX SLI $1000

Now, if the Quad card overclocked to GTX speeds it would actually be the better deal but judging by the HSF this card has an OVP that will limit your overclock.

The memory speed for this card seems to be pretty low at 1.2ghz. I guess this card is closer to two 7900 GTs than GTXs.

well it would be pretty hard to get anything much faster than the 7900GT in a single slot cooling solution.

Where did you get the prices from?
Prices in ££ cannot really be converted to $USD, because it never works that way.

Online currency conversion. May not translate exactly for a US part but it gives you a good ballpark figure to start with. Yes these are OEM parts.
