If your case opens on the left (looking from the front) and your vid card is upside down, you can place an 80mm fan on the card blowing towards the NB.

just leave it. what do you need more than 3.4 GHz for anyway? can't argue with 1.15 volts either

If you move your strap up to 400mhz you can probably get by with a lower NB voltage. There should be a divider that will keep your ram at DDR2-800 (2.00B on Gigabyte, not sure about Asus). Or, you can probably set the strap to Auto and it'll give you DDR2-800 as one of the options. Would love to be more specific but can't connect to Asus' download site for the manual.

I tried 400 on the strap and it caused some serious instability. Seems to run fine at 333. I have now had to bump the vcore up to 1.16. I was suprised that I hit 1.14, but prime did eventually fail on me. Still now that I got the nb figured out I have a fantastic cpu with way more headroom. Though I am happy with 3.4 on a q9550. Now for a new vid card.... yay! The 1.4 on the nb solved all my mem issues so I am happy there.. and my new little fan is quiet and keeping my nb much cooler.
