I thought SendGrid's reasoning on her firing made a lot of sense. She made herself the center of a hugely divisive public firestorm. It wasn't in anyone's best interests other than her own.

I have no problems with the tweet taking offence to the mildly sexualized jokes.
The included photo was out of line.
The firing of the developer was silly.
I find the backlash directed at Adria to be insanely offensive and sexist. (She should be raped? Seriously?)

I would tend to disagree that she made herself the center of the s%*tstorm rather than it forming around her, but upon reviewing her continued tweets on the subject, you may be right.
I dunno, I think the fact that she went STRAIGHT to the nuclear option (pics + public callout on twitter) puts the blame for the shit storm straight on her shoulders.
