Please, show me once where I was immature, I beg of you. If you spend any amount of time on these forums, you'll find that I and exilera are absolutely correct in our statements, and it is only a matter of time before Gurck is inevitably banned.
I have no active accounts in any MMO at the moment, so I can't say I'm on a PVP or non-PVP server. My answer to the poll should tell you exactly where I stand, maybe you missed it. I find PVP to be a more enjoyable aspect in gaming, however I believe maturity tends to be higher on non-PVP servers. I am against ganking.
This from someone who thinks WoW uses the WC3 game engine :laugh: Sorry, not trying to harp on it but it's just so funny and a high point of the ignorance you display so lavishly. Anyway, the post I quoted is just one more of malak's continual character attacks - which are indeed immature.

I played an MMORPG that, for years, was strictly PvP. There was no option. If you didn't feel like participating in PvP.... well then I guess you just didn't fight back, and got killed anyway. But this was the BEST system. Players were policed by other players, not by silly global "rules" that you can't attack one another. Sure, some innocent people got murdered, but that taught you to be strong, or travel with a group. And the best part of it was, there was a generally high level of respect for your fellow players. Because if you didn't respect, they might just kill you. But if you were respectful, then they couldn't kill you, lest other players intervene.

That's actually not too far from how the WoW PvP servers work, or rather worked.
Granted, you were safe in your own lands, but in contested areas(which is where you'll spend most of your time above lvl 20) everyone's game.
Worked amazingly well, people were pretty mature about it.
"Evolved from the wc3 engine" says nothing. All 3d engines are evolved from the Wolfenstein 3d engine.
And in the post discussing the engine I said it was a modification of the WC3 engine. Is this somehow different from "evolved from the WC3 engine?"

Yes, I blatantly insulted griefers. They are all stupid and/or children. I didn't think anyone on AT would fall into the category (would expect them at MTV.com, not a tech site), and didn't think that anyone would confess to being such an ass even if they were; it's like admitting to being an email spammer or spyware writer. But then AT has gotten consistenly younger over the time I've spent here, I guess it shouldn't surprise me. Unfortunately, after reposting the paragraph stating how one would "corpse camp" to hold an area, which isn't malicious or with the intent to "grief", you still have yet to read it. Or, you read it, but acknowledging what I wrote would mean you'd have less ammunition to whine, so you blatantly ignored it. Either way, your arguments have absolutely no substance. A friend of mine could easily be one, if it wasn't for the fact that he for one sucks at PvP, and secondly is too busy looking for better gear.

What's "stupid" is the person who's not clever enough to listen to someone's retort and form an argument around that rebuttal, such as you.
