primary PvP, about the same, have at least a lvl 40 on a PvP server and on PvE. Although, Horde side seems to be comprised of more mature and older players than alliance. Fighting other players is more fun than fighting a piece of code, IMO. While i do not call those people that do not like PvP "carebears" i do wish that they would stay off of PvP servers or at least stop complaining over /yell "OMG SOMEONE PWNED ME AND IS SPAWN CAMPING ME HELP ME PLZ!!!! WHY DO YOU PEOPLE LIKE THIS?????????!?!!?!?!"

I asked for opinions on PvP vs. PvE and gave mine. You, unfortunately, seem barely literate and instead insult me. Perhaps in a decade or so (at the age of about 20) you'll be able to contribute to online forums, but for now I'd suggest logging off of AOL, turning off the PC, and watching something more geared to your age group - Teletubbies and MTV come to mind, try those first.
 
im on a pvp server. there are plenty of immature players. i havent played on a pve server, so i cant comment on that. the more pissed off and frustrated i get with other players, the more rewarding the pvp system can be.

I'm 27. Interesting that despite numerous queries you still avoid the question, apparently my guess at age hit the nail on the head 😉 Your hostile reactions are a case of 'if the shoe fits' - perhaps you need to rethink your griefing ways rather than take offense where there is none to be taken.

I'm at a loss for words, here I'm being called immature for wanting do civilly discuss something on an internet message board and defending myself against ad homs & character attacks by a child in defense of his griefer gameplay style. Yes - a child - I don't believe for a minute, judging by your posts, that you're any older than 15. Your evasiveness about it only cements this guess.

I'm sorry you're not familiar with the 'if the shoe fits' term - it's based on the Cinderella story, which apparently is no longer taught to today's children (or perhaps you got a bathroom pass to go sniff glue the day your teacher went over it). Your own ineptitude at debating doesn't mean my argument makes no sense, however. Gurk's blatant trolling aside, I voted that I am primarily PVP and find PVE servers are more mature. On average, PVP servers tend to be a magnet for more of the jerks in the community than the PVE servers do. And because of this, more mature people tend to want to avoid them and thus find themselves on a PVE server instead. With most MMO's having a chance for PVP even on PVE servers, there's no problem with this. PVP servers tend to offer the chance for ganking, something only an immature gamer would want to do.

Possibly more immature as a whole. Personally I wouldn't know; I don't play on a PvE server. However, maturity in game really doesn't come into play in WoW, since you can't communicate with the opposing faction, unlike EQ, where you could sh!t talk up a storm.

Ganking, depends on what your definition of Ganking is. I don't see anything wrong with a group of players killing a solo player while xping, which is the common definition for the term, I think. It's part of the game, and honestly, everyone knows what they're getting into when they create a character on a PvP realm. People can expect to be killed, even if the odds are unfair. It has nothing to do with maturity; it's just the way the game is. Really, there's no way around it. No group of 60s is going to allow a lone 60 to just run up and past them without being harassed. It just doesn't happen.

WoW does a good job with PvP in my opinion. There's no looting, no xp loss; only 30 seconds or so of time wasted.

when it is in your best interest to frustrate the enemy at every turn why wouldn't you 'gank'?
