Navalny is Putin’s fiercest critic and challenger and quite a popular figure in Russia (popular enough that he’s been banned from running in elections himself) and leads an organization investigating corruption within Putin’s United Russia party.

Apparently he was traveling from Siberia to Moscow and may have been poisoned while drinking tea in the airport. Plenty of eyewitness accounts and video show him perfectly healthy drinking tea, going straight to the lavatory after boarding, and then screaming in pain after the plane made an emergency landing to get him medical attention.

I'm sure it was just a tea allergy of course. I hear it's quite common in people of Russian descent. No reason to ever suspect the Russian government of trying to murder its opposition in an extrajudicial fashion.

I'm actually surprised they went after him--I thought Putin's regime had Navalny neatly contained. I thought he'd be the guy they'd point to and say, "See? We don't kill or poison our enemies! Russia is a free and fair state--look at Navalny! Would he even exist if we were as evil as you think we are?"

Think about it, if Trump loses the election and considering all that Trump knows about Valdimir Putin, Putin will have no choice but to poison Donald Trump too. If Trump loses, Trump will be of no use to valdimir Putin. Not any more. And Donald Trump will have to go. Donald will never know when it might happen. It could be any drink, any meal, it could even be Donald’s Kentucky fried chicken that was poisoned. Donald will never know who to trust or what to trust. Valdimir is very good at what he does, murder.

Been wondering about all the shit going on at Voice of America, and it dawned on me is that Trump is setting up the seeds of his post president news/propaganda network.
 
He was probably unknowingly made one of the testers of their coronavirus vaccine. It obviously has a few "side effects" that they need to work on.

Seriously though, I do feel bad for him and his wife and kids. The guy must have had balls of steel to stand up to a murderous piece of crap like Putin as long as he has.

On TV they showed video of him drinking tea, I presume at the airport before boarding his flight... out of a paper cup. Why tell me why would Putin's chief rival chance drinking tea from a vendor at an airport? 😳

He probably drank it in the same way he ate and drank every day after putting himself on Putin's shit list (i.e. hoping that what he was eating or drinking today wasn't going to be what killed him). Plus, Putin has marginalized him in recent years to the point where he is really more of an irritant (albeit a popular one) rather than a serious threat to him.

Don't forget that Putin also had Alexander Litvinenko killed in London with poisoned tea (containing radioactive Polonium-210). Poison is apparently Putin's thing - I guess he gets off on making them really suffer before they die.
