Putin Backed Trump

As an aside, to me, Trump's issue seemed more like NPD than an inferiority complex. Wonder what the difference is there? The idea of an 'inferiority complex' seemed to be very common in pop-psychology a few decades ago, but it seems to have fallen out of fashion. These days everyone in the US diagnoses everyone else as a 'narcissist' (especially their ex-partners after bitter break-ups, from what I see on-line)

Wonder if that's a sign that Russian psychiatry is a bit behind-the-times according to changing US fashions in such things?
There’s considerable argument that narcissism stems from feeling insecure and inferior.

Yes, but not the _electorate_, plenty of whom voted for him and defended him against all such criticisms. And the US commentariat didn't correctly spot that that might happen, hence I'm saying there was something lacking in their understanding of the political conditions in the country.

True, though, before you point out the obvious, it's in good part down to the stupid warped electoral system. Still amazing that someone as obviously not-up-to-the-job as Trump could get elected.
While the commentariat didn’t foresee he would win the election, they did see him for who he was, someone unstable.

As far as the electorate goes I would similarly disagree - they just think the things he was doing are good. For the most part they have no concrete policy goals, they just wanted to inflict pain on the people they hate. Trump was perfectly good at that.

Yeah, I guess so, not my field, but the _terminology_ seems dated to me. "Inferiority complex" was once a term you heard a lot, but it's just redolent of an earlier era, to me.

A common tactic of the low intelligent.
Once again, fake news - easily believed by the massive of incompetent fools.
The funniest thing to me in the statements that you quoted him on, was that neither used proper grammar. More laughably ironic projection, calling others stupid when he can't even communicate properly.
lol that quote was in reference to a post I made that had tons of data and facts my typical bullshit...

...It's also hilarious that you I myself find The Guardian my usual sources to be at all reputable (ie Glenn Greenwald? lol)

It's nice to see you guys eat it up just pigs at a trough, no questions asked.
How's that mirror, dipshit? You are sadly predictable.

Glenn is the sole purveyor of what is “fake news”?
What I find amusing is that when it came to Hunter Biden's supposed laptop being dropped off at a blind man's repair shop by unknown people thousands of miles away from Hunter Biden's home and just left there Glenn found this entirely credible and thought the real scandal was the media's skepticism.

Glenn's descent into insanity and self-humiliation has been sad to see.

"He was such a reputable journalist when his facts agreed with my feelings!"

lol, this is some weapons grade projection.

Glenn denies Russian collusion with the Trump campaign despite the Trump family itself releasing confirmation of it. If you think someone who denies objective reality in that way can be trusted for information on Russia and Trump that's up to you but you're just showing what an easy mark you are.

Again Russia committed to do all they could to get Trump elected, in order to generate social turmoil and discord in the U.S. This is not even a question to be debated.

But, a couple of things...

This document is unverified. A LOT of people are saying it appears genuine, the Kremlin has denied it, so it’s up to the individual as to depend upon its veracity. And The Guardian states openly that it’s unverified.

If true however… the Kremlin doesn’t usually leak like this. Was the release of this document purposeful? That's the big question. Commentaries have reiterated, the Kremlin just doesn’t leak - unless they want to. One bit of evidence here is that the document refers to the existence of kompromat on Trump, as described in an appendix that is conveniently missing.

The documents appear to be legitimate, so were they manufactured? To what end? What is the Kremlin’s advantage to releasing these documents?

It entirely is. What proof do you have - and how do you know it wasn't simply a means of creating disorder and not really giving a shit who gets elected?

lol I see the peanut gallery of idiots are still standing behind Russiagate - even after continuously being proven wrong. Good on you for listening to clowns like Rachel Maddow that (similar to Fox news) had to be sued and clarified that they are "entertainment" and not a source of reputable media.
Except it hasn't been proven wrong you fucking idiot! Pull your head out of the ground or your ass, which ever hole you have it in..

At what point is this crap creating enough bad press / google hits for AT?

It’s really weird that people like you continue to lie about this.

The ideas that Russia backed Trump and that Trump’s campaign colluded with the Russian government are facts. Anyone who argues otherwise is lying or stupid. Which are you?
I've yet to see the verified factual evidence of Trump's campaign colluding with the Russian government.

Who said the documents were purposefully leaked on order of Putin? Could have been a rogue person or element who is responsible.

That having been said, it's highly unusual. I'm going to wait for other media outlets to start covering this because right now I can only find the Guardian and that means the other agencies are still vetting the story.

Yes you have, but in case you need to see it again here is Trump’s son agreeing to collude with the Russian government in writing.

Now that you have incontrovertible evidence I assume you’ll never try to make this claim again, is that correct?

So far I've found one article in WaPo about this, and it is skeptical of the authenticity of the document.

Wrong! Fake news!

Because...
A LOT of people are saying it appears genuine

Uhm, a very large percentage of US analysts and political figures pegged Trump as mentally unstable and hugely divisive from the very start. This includes Republicans, by the way. Republicans just stopped saying it and fell in line when it turned out the base actually liked those things about him.

Go look at quotes from the summer of 2015, we had him 100% pegged from the start.
What most liberals and conservatives didn't see and that I and others warned about was the fact that far from having no chance of winning it was likely that he would. Few saw how appealing his message would resonate with folks filled with self hate because they don't see it in themselves. Trump spoke to the same mental illness we all have, the desire to hide one's feelings of inferiority behind a big shinny phony ego.

The only resonance behind make America great again is the feeling we have lost it. And we always create what we feel. The Democrat paralysis at passing legislation just shows how deep that problem runs. Was it Charles Atlas that promised if you toughen up you won't get sand kicked in your face?

We have a party hell bent of destroying democracy itself to stay in power and Biden has just started to mention it, no course of action like eliminating the filibuster attached. We have to twiddle our thumbs waiting for the brain dead to catch up. And so it is with sleeping machines. We can only do what we can to try to wake people in time to save themselves. The jury is still out but so much fear of action stacked up against such obvious danger is sad.

There you go again, rolling in the pig sty with a fucking troll. When are people going to realize that they enjoy eliciting reactions from sane people.

fucking put them on ignore, something that hurts them deeply.

Current white conservatives in this country would prefer a similar style country to Russia, with white Christian male oligarchs here, because the other possibility is a nation with more opportunity and equality for all, and they hate that. Look at nobodysmind, he is a perfect representative of a white conservative male, racist and sexist and classist as fuck. It would destroy him more to see women and minorities get some rather than democracy dying.

He just hasn't learned to punch up instead of down. He *thinks* he is punching up, but he isn't.
