There’s considerable argument that narcissism stems from feeling insecure and inferior.As an aside, to me, Trump's issue seemed more like NPD than an inferiority complex. Wonder what the difference is there? The idea of an 'inferiority complex' seemed to be very common in pop-psychology a few decades ago, but it seems to have fallen out of fashion. These days everyone in the US diagnoses everyone else as a 'narcissist' (especially their ex-partners after bitter break-ups, from what I see on-line)
Wonder if that's a sign that Russian psychiatry is a bit behind-the-times according to changing US fashions in such things?
