Pump finally came in - leak testing outside of case!

I have everything setup, leak testing away. I am about to add some coolant to the distilled water.

I've been jiggling the rad around, loosening air bubbles. The CPU block has some bubbles that seem to be clinging on to the bottom copper plate, and I can't jiggle them free. Will they go away after 24 hours?

Well, here I delve into WC.

It should go away. for me, I used butt end of a srewdriver to tap the things.

Water...pfft. Who in their right mind would put water that close to an electrical circuit?

Know which water coolers it outperforms before you digrace my radiator with such a comment. Try to get the 9500 to outperform a triple 120mm cooled radiator in push/pull. That is 6 low speed 120mm fans.

Not going to happen. End of discussion.

Zalman CNPS9500 (air cooling)--tests/reviews show it's better than some water coolers...

What we are going to find I believ is that sure it will out perform some water cooling units!
But--(theres always a but isn`t there..lol) I am sure it will not come close to out performing many custom built water cooling sytems and even then I surmise it will only outperform the lower end water cooling units!!

We shall see!!

Yea, had Xbit Labs compared the Zalman to a decent H2O setup than you'd have seen the Zalman with its tail between its legs licking its wounds and whimpering. Impressive air cooler for sure, but I wouldn't call it as good as watercooling.

OP- Let us know what kind of results you get.
