Bush/Cheney/Ashcroft/the Religious Right/ and their goal of subverting American democracy to further their own agendas. Followed by the consolidation of radical Islam with its universal hatred of Western ideals, followed by the proliferation of nuclear technology to the Islamic world.

Probably North Korea. Thus, I chose "some asian country"
NK admits that it has nukes and constantly uses them for posturing purposes, but you don't see us invading them. 😛
bah, they won't fuk with us. They are almost right in a way because they have this biggass country called China staring down at them. I think the US just needs to make sure China doesn't fuk with them and they might disarm.
I actually chose John Kerry. I'm sure he's a good man and all, but he is definately not presidential material, and I think if he is elected the US will trip over itself and take a fall.
Bush isn't perfect, just too aggressive for most people. I'm glad he realized his power and did something about Saddam and started shaking our sword at the middle east. We have every right to be over there right now. If those crazy societies would learn to be civil, we wouldn't be as concerned about their rash actions. I don't think this is about oil at all. I think thats just an easy target for those that can handle the idea of war and the harsh reality of necessary, premptive security measures and what it takes to take them.
Flame me if you want, but I've thought about this and this is how I feel. Sorry. If I saw a neighborhood bully was terrorizing local kids and then came to my neighborhood and through a brick through my door because he was jealous, you'd better be sure i would report him to the police. If the police (un) was too scared to deal with the bully and I saw the opportunity to take care of him once and for all, I would take whatever means necessary to do it. Saddam was a big bully. thats all.
If you think this has nothing to do with oil, then you do not live on the same planet as I do. I agree, Saddam was a dangerous man (not for the U.S. imo), but saying this had nothing to do with oil is plain ignorant. I am glad most people voted Bush. I hope more people realize this before the election.
Nothing to do with oil, directly. Let's go back to my bully analogy. So after I just beat up the bully and found his hideout in the woods, I find he has a cooler filled with ice cold coke. Hot damn I love a cold coke. (I actually have been drinking them quite a bit lately, alot of work to do, it has caffeine. ) So I invite the local kids that where bullied by the bully back to the hide out to have a coke, and then show them how to setup a neighborhood "coke" operation and make some money. I'm not ignorant. I would gladly pay $3 a gallon or more if it meant just one soldier didn't have to die. This is about so much more than oil. So much more than oil. You'd have to be shortsighted because your pissed about gas prices to think otherwise.
Actually, if people would actually take risks and try to do something with their lives, they might realize what kind of real life survival measures they need to take to keep someone else from ruining their lives or the lives of people they love. The USA is no different in its need for these security measures and policies. If you want to attack us, FUK you, and here comes hell. This is how it has to be. Otherwise, we will keep living in fear. End of story. As I started in business, I sued the first person that remotely screwed me, not because I am lawsuit happy, but because I wanted to know the process and show to myself and others that I would do things to protect myself. Not only did I attack the other party legally, I worked with lawyers to screw with them psychologically. The timing of things, how we said them, when we said them. Kind of like picking a fight not knowing if you will win, but knowing that you will definately learn from it for the next time you are in a fight, and its not one you picked.

how are kids ever going to learn if you don't use analogies? OMG analogies are incredibly frickin important in the real world. If you told your teachers not to use analogies when they tought you, you would still be in 3rd grade.
