Will be a Intel Quad Core, 4gigs of DDR2 800 RAM, probably 2 SATA 300 (or so) GB HDDs, 1 optical drive at first, but it'll probably be two at some point, a few case fans, 8800GT (most likely won't SLI, but it's a possibility at some point).
I simply don't have the time to put my own system together these days and I just don't want to deal with the hassle of rebates and shipping from multiple locations, etc. so I'm breaking down and ordering a prebuilt from IBuyPower.com. (Well, the second HDD and RAM I'll buy myself since their upgrade prices are absolutely ridiculous [200 bucks for an extra 2GB of RAM?]). Anywhere, here's a list of PSU's to choose from and keep in mind I know nothing about PSU's I just don't want to go cheap now and regret it later.
500 Watt -- NZXT PF-500 Power Supply
600 Watt -- XION SuperNova XON-600R14 Power Supply
650 Watt -- NZXT PRC-650 Power Supply SLI Ready
620 Watt -- Enermax Liberty DXX
Who are these companies? This worries me.
and a number of other similar PSU's of higher wattage (though I don't think I'll really need anymore wattage). Opinions on these?
Another option, I suppose, would be to get the minimum PSU offered in the system and then just buy one a la carte to add myself later. If that were the case, what would you guys recommend, the typical Antec Earthwatts 500, etc.?
