Will be a Intel Quad Core, 4gigs of DDR2 800 RAM, probably 2 SATA 300 (or so) GB HDDs, 1 optical drive at first, but it'll probably be two at some point, a few case fans, 8800GT (most likely won't SLI, but it's a possibility at some point).

I simply don't have the time to put my own system together these days and I just don't want to deal with the hassle of rebates and shipping from multiple locations, etc. so I'm breaking down and ordering a prebuilt from IBuyPower.com. (Well, the second HDD and RAM I'll buy myself since their upgrade prices are absolutely ridiculous [200 bucks for an extra 2GB of RAM?]). Anywhere, here's a list of PSU's to choose from and keep in mind I know nothing about PSU's I just don't want to go cheap now and regret it later.

500 Watt -- NZXT PF-500 Power Supply
600 Watt -- XION SuperNova XON-600R14 Power Supply
650 Watt -- NZXT PRC-650 Power Supply SLI Ready
620 Watt -- Enermax Liberty DXX

Who are these companies? This worries me.

and a number of other similar PSU's of higher wattage (though I don't think I'll really need anymore wattage). Opinions on these?

Another option, I suppose, would be to get the minimum PSU offered in the system and then just buy one a la carte to add myself later. If that were the case, what would you guys recommend, the typical Antec Earthwatts 500, etc.?

Enermax Liberty should be a good PSU, but more often then with other PSU's, people have reported that it failed on them. I would take it over the other 3 psu's anyday though.

That's pretty much what I figured. I currently have an Enermax case/PSU that I've never had a problem with so I think I'll stick with 'em. Guru3d had a pretty solid review of the above Enermax PSU and they seemed to like it. 620 watts should be enough to power the rig and then some.

Digital Storm has prices similar to Ibuypower and I would trust them much more....also you can choose from Corsair HX520, HX620 Silverstone Strider 560W Silver stone Decathlon 850 Watt...Olympia 750Watt PC P&C 1000 watt and Thermaltake 1200Watt with them.

Is 620W too much? What kind of wattage should I be looking for if I want the possibility of expansion to SLI'd 8800 GTs?
