Hey everyone. I just ordered a 1.6a/p4s333/samsung 2700 DDR combo and plan to get the most overclock I can out of this thing with the stock HS and AS2. I am a little worried about the heatsink however. I currently have an Inwin-Q500 full tower case that I bought about 3 years ago, and it still has the original 300w PSU. I've seen some who dont have a problem running a 300w, and some who swear that 350w is the bear minimum. The system will be running with 1 HD, 1 CD-ROM, 1 CD Burner, Radeon 8500, SBLive, NIC, TV-Tuner, and 2 case fans.
My question is....should I just plug it all up and see what happens, or go ahead and plan to upgrade the PSU?? Will the ASUS monitoring utility that comes with the board be able to tell me how stable it is by monitoring the various voltages, and if so, what should I look for to determine if it's stable or not, besides crashing of course?? Any feedback will be appreciated.
