They aren't as I don't buy cars because of penis size, I buy cars because of what I like. And it would be a lie to say you don't buy a brand new car without considering what others think.

I think you can only speak for yourself here. What others thought never entered the equation when I bought my last car and motorcycle.

if you are going to compare a v6 civic, then you have to use a v8 mustang. if you are going to use a v6 mustang, then you have to use the 4 cyl civic.

edit: and there is no difference between a civic and a grocery getter.

I drove my sister-in-laws mustang during a weekend in FL. What an overhyped vehicle. Had more fun driving a friends eclipse for a day.

Wife; Why don't you go out and pick up dinner

Me; Cause then I'd have to drive it again.

I have always understood this:

Muscle car: High HP/TQ, loud, quick -- not the best handlers.

Sports car: 2 seater (although not always), Usually 4 cyl (not always), low to mid HP, handles like a dream

Exotic: High HP/TQ, handles like a dream, too much for me to afford

Using my classifications, I really can't decide where the Corvette falls into...especially the Z06.

Why the hell did you create this thread? :disgust:

And don?t call anyone else a kid or a troll because you?re the most childish person on this forum when it comes to cars. You have ego issues, and you cry if anyone disrespects a mustang.

I?ll never forget that V6 mustang thread which you commandeered and ruined, what a joke.

Go cry somewhere else with your pusstang, fanboy.

I don't understand the point of this thread either.

It seems like in most threads where OP flames other posters and then they call him on it he claims that he is just trying to get a rise out of people and doesn't really mean it. Would that be an example of being passive-aggressive or just a troll?

V6 Civic 😕... I didn't even know there was such a beast! 😛

The era of muscle cars ended a long time ago. Mustangs, for awhile after that, took on the shape of a sports car. The newer design tries to emulate that old fashioned look, but we saw what happened when people tried to bring bell bottoms back....

Not to mention the MX5 is not exactly the picture next to testosterone in the dictionary, in fact it is next to estrogen (I kid, I kid, it is an amazing handling car, but that's where I would buy an Exige).

😀

yeah, well, we all can't afford an exige 😛

Are you smoking crack? The new Mustang has been a huge success for Ford and they've released some of the most powerful Mustangs ever in the last couple years. They are definitely muscle cars.

There is no V6 Civic and no stock Civic could hang with a GT...forget about the Cobra.

For a while trucks were on thier way to becoming the next muscle cars, then they became god damned porky overweight limos.

Big engine+simple design+durable+easy to mod=win
Big engine+small chassis=win (which is why I like the Dakota, except for the current gen which jumped the shark)

While the Mustang isn't a good sports car, it damn well can be called one. It comes pretty close to meeting the dictionary definition.

Heck, if you can call the Hummer 2 a "SPORTS" utility vehicle, the mustang is definately a sports car.

im not reading pages 3 and 4 because 1 and 2 were idiotic and immature enough.
oh and mustangs suck. 😉

i for one will welcome the Challenger overlords when they arrive next year! ooooo, how I dream of owning a Challenger. Give me a couple years to work up the funding, and then after that, once I get back home cuz I'll probably be deployed somewhere. But alas, one day I shall get me a Challenger. 😀
