What is Rudy Giuliani going to do now that they're hanging him out to dry?

Dance around the facts, of course. Rudy knew, or should have known, that what Trump attempted with Ukraine was highly illegal. That's true for all the participants. Trump has the astounding ability to corrupt everybody around him, to get them to go along & to protect him. He's also a shrewd judge of character in being able to spot susceptible individuals.

Couple things I can't get a hang on

What Rudy/VP/SoS/CoS/others think they can get from helping Trump in this Ukraine mess? They aren't just turning a blind eye they're in it with him.

Why all the front line players listen/agree to work with Rudy, he is just a private citizen with no clearance, no positions, no power. Why?

Career criminal Trump knows how not to get caught with words. Nobody has any direct words from Trump. They just do it for fun.
Edit: God father senate hearing. Buffers, oh yea, we got lots of buffers.

Sounland is testifying now that Volker knew more than he testified to.

As I said yesterday during Volker's testimony .. it sure seems that Volker is the least insightful person one could imagine. You would think that would be somewhat of a required skillset for an ambassador and yet Volker seems unable to infer what anyone could mean by anything.

Turner seems to be confused about how reality works. Just because nobody told Sondland $thing doesn't mean that him realizing $thing was happening isn't evidence.

EDIT: and thank you Schiff for literally stating as such.

He learned to use words very carefully in his diplomatic career.

GOP is now attempting to get Sondland to dismiss his opening statement as based entirely on Sondland's own "presumptions"--Sondland seems to be taking that lifeline to stay in Trump's good graces...

But amazingly, the demand for meetings and announcements about investigations from the Ukrainians would not go away. Why, oh, why.

Yep.

I watched about 3 hours of testimony today, and all I could think about was the circus. What a shit show.

My favorite questioning was with Taylor:
“You weren’t on the call were you? You didn’t listen to President Trump’s call and President (Volodymyr) Zelenskiy’s call?” Jordan said.
“I did not,” Taylor replied.
“You’ve never talked with Chief of Staff Mulvaney?” Jordan asked.
“I never did,” Taylor said.
“You’ve never met the president?” Jordan asked.
“That’s correct,” Taylor said.

And then more testimony of 3rd or 4th hand comments from some whistleblower. Epic.

I think Nunes had the most important questions:

Nunes said no hearings should be held until three questions are answered - “what is the full extent of the Democrats’ prior coordination with the whistleblower; what is the full extent of Ukraine’s election meddling against the Trump campaign; and, third, why did Burisma hire Hunter Biden, what did he do for them, and did his work affect the Obama administration?”

And I still dont think this will ever to the floor for a vote.

This hasn't aged well in the week since it was written.

Lol

I really, really hope this isn't fake (an image of Trump's talking points).

""I want nothing. I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo. Tell Zellinsky to do the right thing. This is the final word from the Pres. of the U.S."

Written in giant sharpie, filling the page.

I wonder when Trump heads back to Walter Reed for another "check up"?
