"Scrubs sucks" yadda yadda yadda

I'm looking forward to it.

Interested to see if a new network changes anything.

I actually just started watching it this year on comedy central reruns...I like it, although its brand of humor gets old. I'll be watching though, thanks for the reminder, I think my DVR is only looking at comedy central.

I wonder if it will actually be in 16:9 HD (720p or 1080i)? My Dish preview guide says it will be in HD, but all the previews have been in 4:3 SD.

Im glad its back for one more season. too bad the cast thats there now is pretty much done. i hope they end some of the cliffhangers.
ill def be watching it

Yeah.. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing some of the cliffhangers end as well. Hope the show wraps up well.

The creators of the show said that it will be in SD forever (this is probably the final season, anyway). There was only 1 episode or preview or something in HD.

Ah, ok. I didn't realize that this was still going to be the final season.

ummm, this might be the final season for most of the cast that is there now. they want to continue the Show with new cast... i probaly wouldnt watch it. if i did, it would be like watching season 5 of sliders.

Woot!

I'm really hoping they can reclaim some of their old charm.

That show has had some highs and lows are far as enjoyment goes.

Wow... nobody wants to relive Saved By teh Bell: The New Class. The College Years were already bad

I'm almost positive I read that it will be in HD on ABC. Let me do some digging...

EDIT: This article from Reuters mentions it, but I can't find anything on the ABC site. We'll find out tonight I guess.

I will give this new season a look but I am not very hopeful. The last two seasons were like awful parodies of themselves.

I read that not all cast members will be in every episode this season. Apparently they need to keep costs down and by not having the full cast in each episode they save a bunch of money. I am afraid this will be make the episodes extremely uneven but who knows, maybe it will work OK.

I like the show alright. It wasn't epic or anything, but it certainly is a pretty dceent show. I watched only a few episodes when it was on in primetime. I'm another one of those who picked it up on Comedy Central....then I've never been much of a major network fan unless it's NFL, New Year's, or the Macy's Day parade.

that would suck..which will make the show horrible..at least if they keep the core cast in the eps. that would be fine.

the show will be the first and only season to be in HD... but it might not be in wide screen because Bill Lawrence doesnt like the way it looks in 16:9

Supposedly, according to the creator Bill Lawrence, this season is supposed to be more like the older seasons before it got to campy. Even he admits the show's material got kinda weak.
Zach Braff has said he's not coming back after this season. The "new interns" are supposed to have been chosen with the idea that they would be the new cast if the show continues.

What's the point if Zach is gone?

Let's face it, it's really the J.D. show.
