Please, people, send it by snail mail, fax it or e-mail it. Do not do two or, geez, all three of them!!!
Now, there are exceptions to the rule. In my case, if I want someone to know that a check is coming in the mail, I will fax them a copy of the letter and check (this is sometimes a very useful act in my profession). But, normally, it is really annoying to get a fax or e-mail of something, then have it show up in the mail two days later.
It also wastes paper, ink, postage, fuel and all other kinds of resources.
