Ever notice the frompies are last promoted? I have not worked in corporate for 9 years but that was my impression. It's still a mans world.

Thats fantasy land. What we want it to be like not what it's like. Studies have shown good looking people get jobs, get promoted, etc faster than non. And it does not even have to be consious choice our minds are just hardwired at the sub conscious to prefer good looking and let it affect our judgment.

Even extends to presidents we hire. Someone that looks like Bernie Sanders/ Newt has no shot in hell but slim charming Obama does.

I was waiting to pick up my grandkid from school and one of the other kid's mother walks up wearing a very nice black business suit, but when her kid came out I glanced down and the mom was wearing matching black flip flops that had stone inlaid straps.

That's actually what set off the incident with the psychiatrist. I told her it seemed like she'd been throwing up, and would she mind brushing her teeth. I assumed it was because we'd been drinking all day. I have no issue pointing that out.
 
Why all the hate on slacks? I honestly have very good eye control (for a young-ish male at least) in most instances but pinstripe slacks are the most distracting things evar. I'll even ogle men in them.

Probably swapped from looking smart all day in high heals. I;m a neanderthal and recognize no way that goes together.

I'll take a pinstripe pencil skirt over pinstripe slacks anyday.

I would have changed out of my heels to flip-flops to pick up my kids.

You know, if I wore heels or had kids. 😛
 
By happenstance I had a client site visit today and had to wear a suit (with slacks, sorry skirt guys) and I wore high heel boots in honor of this thread. Similar to these but not quite as nice and shiny new.
