PSA: Don't piss off Kim Jung Un

For failure to show proper respect the now former Defense Chief was executed, publicly, with anti aircraft guns! We're talking something probably larger than 20mm.

I can only guess there wasn't much left of him.

How the fuck does China, NC's patron, let this shit go on?

Because they (and the US and, maybe, S. Korea) have made the determination that it suits their interests to leave the Korean situation the way it is.

Not too familiar with NK's anti aircraft hardware, but it was probably Soviet 50's - 60's era kit. I know ZSU-23s are being used in Iraq/Syria these days, mainly against ground based vehicles and emplacements.

There wouldn't be anything left of the guy if it was indeed real anti aircraft hardware used. What an asshole, and I am sure this inspired real loyalty among others in the military. Example of a ZSU-23 firing:

And just why might this be such a terrible problem? Are you suggesting that this man was honorable and had integrity of character? And are you suggesting that the execution of this official is somehow the same as the millions of starving North Koreans?

You obviously want to read up on all the other executions in North Korean history if you think this one was that bad. Executions by anti-aircraft guns goes on all the time over there for quite a while now.

What do you expect China to do exactly? They made their mistake 65 years ago when they crossed the Yalu. Had they stayed out of it, none of this would be happening today.

The plight of the North Korean people is very, very sad, but do you think it is worth a single drop of American (or, if you're not American, pick your nation) blood to "liberate" those people? I certainly don't.

China and the Soviet Union created the monster and the blood is on their hands as far as I am concerned.

I dunno, sounds quick anyways
When you guys execute your citizens is it always quick and painless?

The CNN reporter I just heard said he was executed for falling asleep at a meeting organized by Kim Jong Un along with general neglect of duty.

The sales of NoDoz there just skyrocketed. 🙂

So now I know where Sadist Saddam got his inspiration from.

Again that line from the movie "Fury" comes back to me: "Have you seen it yet?..........What men can do to each other?"

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

If I was going to be executed, anti-aircraft guns sounds like a pretty good way. It's got more pizzazz than a simple electric chair and it's probably going to be painless.

Well China must have thought that keeping NC as the rouge nation that it is would be a counter balance in the Korean peninsula that would tie up America and act as a mine field at there southern flank. At one level that makes sense for them, but they have nurtured a rogue state that now has nukes and the missiles capable of reaching far beyond there borders and it looks like China doesn't have much control over there client.

China may have figured NC would tie up the west but one has to question if perhaps China is the one being tied up...
