Um, my Crown Vic stops better than most other cars on the road. In case you didn't notice my brakes are bigger than most import's wheels are.Originally posted by: thomsbrain

It's funny the things you don't have to worry about driving a 77 Mercury Grand Marquis. No one tailgates you, cuts you off, or dwells in your blind spots.
They don't tailgate you or stay in your blind spots because they're afraid something is going to fall off that piece of sh!t and hit their car. And they don't cut you off because they figure you have nothing to lose by ramming that piece of sh!t into their vehicle.
What's your point?
It's not a POS though. Your car is a POS. My Mercury is a fine piece of american machinery that's as comfortable as driving my couch around town.
He doesn't even have a lisence anyway.
Big old cars are da-bomb! I drive a 1987 Crown Vic and it is easily capable of crushing those annoying rice-out crap-wagons right off the road.
exactly, it's a giant POS and people figure you have nothing to lose by ramming it into them. also they know that you couldn't swerve to avoid an accident at anything over 10 MPH nor stop yourself in less than several football fields.
as for the mercury guy, anybody who compares driving to sitting on their couch should never get behind the wheel. i'm serious. you're the WORST kind of person to be driving a huge lump of iron like that.
And as for swerving to avoid accidents; it handles just fine with the cop suspension and maybe if all you ricers out there wouldn't stall out in the middle of intersections or have parts of your crap fall off on the road, I wouldn't have to wory about hitting you.
PS: my car is comfortable to drive too, so STFU.
