So, buy one or a few samples, and then they know a source. How many sources do they think there are? How many times do they think they're resold?
The keys aren't issued until the day of release

If they thought GMG was being shady, then they must really not like the place I bought it from which was cheaper yet.
I see GMG has it at 59.99 now...hmm.
I think they are throwing a fit because offering a deep discount on a code where the only available codes for that region are more costly seems fishy. That, with the fact GMG is not on the list of retailers CDPR gave codes to be distributed through, makes it equally fishy.
Rather than simply clearing the air and providing proof the codes are legit, GMG is doing who knows what.
So a company is not allowed to generate business by lowering prices and eating a little bit of the cost in favor of volume? Like I said before there is some info we don't have.
Thats a great idea. However gmg never said they were doing that and this whole thing only came out after cdp said something. Kind of dumb to do something like this for marketing reason and then never disclose that you are doing it. No?
Looking at the original report I have to wonder if they in fact explicitly said this or if it was sloppy gamespot commentary. It's not in quotes, and it's a damn bold thing to say.Remember CDPR says they get no money from the keys.
why do they have to disclose it? Actually they don`t!Thats a great idea. However gmg never said they were doing that and this whole thing only came out after cdp said something. Kind of dumb to do something like this for marketing reason and then never disclose that you are doing it. No?

Companies like activision fix the prices of their games so companies are not allowed to discount them. That's why a CoD that is 6 months old is still $60.

So they bought a bunch of keys and sold them at a loss but didnt want to tell anyone they were doing it because? The whole point of doing something like that would be to tell people about it for goodwill/marketing/buzz/whatever.
For all we know they've been buying up keys on ebay and are reselling them at a marginal loss (they already stated they are losing money on them) and any key that is being bought up and resold CDPR has already got their money for.
unless they are selling promotional or gray market keys.
