First of all links do not cause viruses.......

Second of all if that many people accessed the link with no problems then the person reporting the virus needs to get a new virus scanner....it`s called a false positive...which does happen.

Third my virus scanner scans links before I access them.....

But I commend the Mods for being proactive against this sort of stuff.
All to often on other sites nothing is ever done even when a link has been reported!@!

Have you read the thread? It wasn't just one guy complaining about a virus warning, it's a bunch of people complaining about getting malware.

Speaking of which, my virus scanner and malwarebytes has cleaned out a huge amount of stuff from this, but I still can't hibernate. Has anyone figured out how to fix that? I assume it's screwed something in my registry.
