PS3 vs Xbox 360 size comparison (side by side, 16 pics) **Updated**

I'll wait until the actual unit is realeased before I make my final decision on the PS3, but from those pics it's going to have to be one hell of a performer in games.
 
Does anyone really give a crap what i tlooks like? We all know that if it performs well you will buy one. Thats all that really matters.
 
Wow that is terrible. I was expecting something super slick. The PS2 was hot stuff. The 360 looks 10x better than the PS3.

And it'll sell well in Japan, completely dismissing the argument that the Japanese care about the size of their consoles and that's why the Xbox 1 didn't do well. Realistically, the Japanese are just hardcore about taking care of "their own".
 
i think I am the only one who appreciates its different look. i don't really think the x360 is anything special to look at, the white is a horrible choice and its attempts at curves are, well.. eck.

Man, you have no idea how wrong you are on that. The Japanese have an obsession with American culture. The reason why the Xbox1 didn't do so well in Japan was because of the games. Even i know the Xbox were really only good for sports games, and the PS2 was far superior in RPGs, which is what the Japanese like.
 
The question is, what the hell does it's external power supply look like? The PS3 may be huge compared to the 360, but 90% of the 360's volume and size is concentrated in this enormouse power brick.
 
The PS3 looks ridiculous. And how impractical its shape is, you can't put anything on the top of it. Dunno, a DVD, a gamebox, nothing. And anyways, it looks horrible imho, guess it has to be some Japan edition.
