Now this post is not about which one is better. That is far too subjective and admittedly the GC and Xbox have not got a large library of games, but many times it's been brought up "which system will win against the others?", and the only objective way to measure this is with numbers. And so
PS2 outsells Xbox and GC
PS2 in the week noted sold as many as Xbox and GC _combined_. There were no major shortages of either system. Considering that PS2 has been out a year, and the fact that thousands of people just wanted to buy their GC and Xbox when they first came out (thus Sony had to use it's one year old system to compete with the hype of the new competition) I think we can safely say that anybody who now pretends that PS2 is going to be in 3rd place failed math. It's got the units out now, and the units continue to flood the marketplace.
