Now this post is not about which one is better. That is far too subjective and admittedly the GC and Xbox have not got a large library of games, but many times it's been brought up "which system will win against the others?", and the only objective way to measure this is with numbers. And so

PS2 outsells Xbox and GC

PS2 in the week noted sold as many as Xbox and GC _combined_. There were no major shortages of either system. Considering that PS2 has been out a year, and the fact that thousands of people just wanted to buy their GC and Xbox when they first came out (thus Sony had to use it's one year old system to compete with the hype of the new competition) I think we can safely say that anybody who now pretends that PS2 is going to be in 3rd place failed math. It's got the units out now, and the units continue to flood the marketplace.

The demand of PS2 is greater than other console........it's like a Lancer Evo challenge the Supra. 2.2l in line 4 supercharge can be compete with a powerful 3.0l inline 6 twinturbo car.

No doubt that xbox is more powerful but it lose in certain aspect. Maybe it'll be better in future......

Wow, that really was a smart move on Sony's part to not drop the price of the PS2 before X-Mas. 'course I bought mine at Virgin @30% off, so I didn't really care anyways. :)

Wait a minute. Who failed math?

GC - 65,000
XB - 182,000
----------------
Total - 247,000 which is greater than 241,000 (or # of PS2 sold).

Just wanted to get a jab in, Skoorb. No hard feelings...
