The protest was a success. My "Jerrod for Heisman" sign riled up a bunch of anti-Obama protesters while the pro-Obama and neutral protesters enjoyed it. Protests are actually pretty entertaining because there all sorts of crazy people and endless amounts of trolling opportunities.
My favorite was a lady standing next to me. She mistakenly assumed I was one of them and was nice to me. After realizing I was just mocking protesters, she said the following: "Obama is paying you to be here" (I wish), "You're not allowing me to voice my opinion" (after she grabbed my sign away), "You're an asshole" (because I don't agree with here) and "Obama is your idol" (I'm not an Obama fan).
Then some other extremists were handing out pamphlets about the Bush Senior/LBJ assassinating JFK.
