Promotion to Mod

Page 3 - Seeking answers? Join the AnandTech community: where nearly half-a-million members share solutions and discuss the latest tech.
Just your post count alone would be enough to not qualify you IMO.

One thing about being a mod is you need to be highly active on the site, which your post count seems to not confirm.

So who exactly promotes people to moderator?

Let's see..

I've been here since '99
I actively administer, own, and operate my own vBulletin forum based on v3 of vBulletin within a small community @ www.hastezone.com
I haven't posted anything ... well, bad
Stable life
I'm old. I guess that makes me a good moderator? That's for the mods to show.. I'm almost 30.
Actively involved in the tech community, especially Phones/Graphics/Apple/HTPC

Judges, decide... I'll be waiting for another 10 years... 🙂

Way too young. 😉

They used to get paid in RossMAN bucks. 1 Ross buck was worth ~$45 real dollars. But since he's not around now...they get paid in fainting goat poop.

Oh he's around... lurking in the shadows. Because he's the hero Anandtech deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark knight.

being promoted to Mod is like being "promoted" to Sanitation Engineer.

You think driving the truck could be fun until that's what you do everyday.
