Well ihave RC5 runing on 2 machines right now.. one is a PII 266 and seems to register JUST FINE...

The other is a 2x550 that I just recently formated and reinstalled RC5 on... but by looking at my stats, I don't think the RC5 on the 2x550 is registering at all.

ALL the options are default, and it is crunching away and a nice speedy clip..

Any ideas?

PS - I do apologize, I need to get my 800 and 200 Mhz machines back up and running too.. I jsut re-did EVERYTHING and just havent had th time to toss RC5 on thos yet.

Even the email address? If so, that would explain your problem right there :)
Just set the email address in the client to yours, and the blocks'll register just fine.

If the settings are at default it might be possible that the client is doing OGR. You sure that it says cracking RC5 on the client's window when it's open?

From the FAQ:

<< 3) Now, configure the client to run RC5. To do this, again go into the configuration menu, then type 2(Buffer and buffer update options) and then 9(Load-work precedence). From there, clear the "settings" line, and replace it with the following:

RC5,OGR=0,DES=0,CSC=0

Then press "enter" to save this new setting, then "0" twice to exit the configuration screen and save any new settings.

Oh, and homerboy, the client's default is set to run OGR, then RC5, then update its buffers, and start again.;)
