Hi! I have an issue; my cable wire (RCA Red and White cable) the tip end of it you know, its stuck inside the AUX port of the subwoofer, and I can't get it out. See image below.

Anyone know how or if possible at all to get it out?

Youtube says heat something appropriately sized like a metal nail (hold the nail with pliers) with a lighter/heat source then carefully stick it into the center of the rca pin and wait for it to cool/harden and then pull it out. Search youtube for videos.

What exactly should I type in the search? I can't seem to be specific enough in short term words.

This method seems it can work, but I'd have to watch someone do that first
 
If possible unbolt the plate with the connectors on it. Then you may be able to push out the pin from the inside. Most of the time the connectors are open on the back side.

I'm trying this first! 😀 If it fails (hoping the hell not) I'll have to try the nail and the flame... which I'm not prepared for and hope I don't blow anything up. 😱 But I'll try it if it goes there. 😀

And if that fails, I'd "splurge" on a cheap, very fine-tipped needle-nose pliers before resorting to the nail-and-flame thing...
 
I've had this problem, but enough was left sticking out to grab. I'm not saying that those were cheap cables, but mine was. Ever since I never go cheaper than "Amazon Basic" cables.
 
I can't get it out. These methods aren't working. Is it possible I can pawn this anywhere? I mean now its completely useless.

I don't think I'd try using the screw extracter Fallen Kell mentions, because in the process of trying to "grab" the stem, it'll expand it first, which could easily damage the jack. But the mention of drill bits did bring to mind the idea of using a very small bit to "open up" the piece stuck in the jack (just drill straight into it - carefully, obviously - to clear out whatever's in there), which might give you enough play to then grab it with a (very) fine-tipped needle nose pliers.

I thought it was possible to pawn items like these??
 
I live in Colorado, and I don't have any plugs for the other jacks (FL,FR etc). I only have a red and white cable, whats it called?: stereo cable... which currently I can only use 1 satellite speaker and the sub. I mean all the satellite speakers work, the thing is still new, I just can't use em cause I don''t have the proper cables and ish.

$25? :hmm: Inadequate. For something over 400; I guess.

This is very much in usable condition. Just not currently the AUX right side.

Seriously though...you could replace the jack on the board. A little soldering. Or put some solder or glue on a stick, push in and then pull it out, just be sure to only get it on the part you want to remove. Solder having the advantage of heating it back up to remove if it does not work.

Time to look around of a sizable stick and do I even have glue? :hmm: (Great...)

Oh of course I could order one by mail, the problem is... is there such a wire that is a what? 5.1 female to Stereo (???) male end 3.5 mm jack? Is that possible? I know there's tons of wire converters out there, but is there one like this. I can't seem to know the exact words to put in the search on Amazon.
