What exactly should I type in the search? I can't seem to be specific enough in short term words.

This method seems it can work, but I'd have to watch someone do that first

Why would you have to watch a video? Hold the head end of the small nail with a pair of pliers, heat up the pointy tip with a lighter for about a minute, then press the hot tip into the plastic part of the broken-off cable, the part that's stuck in the jack. Let it cool, then pull it out.

Put a drop of superglue or similar adhesive at the end of a nail. Hold it long enough for a good grip then use that to pull it out.
 
My father got it out!! Of course my inexperienced ass wouldn't get it out! I was ready to give it up. It took him like 1 minute to do it. No lie. The drill bit method was the success. No glue or heating needed just light ease drill into the part and s gentle pull out.
