Any Help!! THANK YOU!!

Run Chkdsk and see if it finds any errors or corruption. If it does, fix them and try again. If it doesn't, use a different partition tool such as GParted.

isn't it a good idea? i just want to make a separate partition for drivers of laptop? :\

Partitions, in my opinion, have no reason to be used anymore.
If you want to artificially limit the amount of space available to certain subsets of data, use quotas.
File systems are sufficiently stable, that there's no point in having a backup on a separate partition of the same disk.
There's no reason to split a disk with partitions, as it will only limit your options when one of the partitions runs out of space.

There's really only one reason left, where partitions make any sense:
If you run different operating systems on a PC, with incompatible file systems.

i actually ran the chkdisk like 4 months ago..
before there was 1 damaged block (color red), as you can see in 2nd picture, now there is no damaged block. im guessing it is repaired from chkdisk?

And are you planning to use it to store videos, pictures and/or large files? If so, I wouldn't partition it as Rick has mentioned.

If it's an old HDD, I suggest buying a new one if you can since 1TB drives are about $50 to $60 now. The amount of time you may spend trying to fix it with chkdsk or any other tools may not be worth the time.
