Problem starting windows xp

I have windows xp pro sp2 on my main computer, and I am having trouble with it starting. I will go through the bios screens and the during the windows xp loading screen I get a quick blue screen (for only a split second) and then the machine restarts. This happens every time. Now sometimes it will load without a problem. I am running a64 3000 a wd raptor (SATA) HDD, 1 gb pc 3200 ram (Kingston), Asus mb, msi geforce 5900 xt. I never had this type of problem before. What could it be.? I tried different memory thinking that I had bad memory, but no success.

Any error messages? What mobo and BIOS ya got? You oc'ing?

The error is to quick for me to see. NO overclocking. MB is Asus K8V800 deluxe. I will check on that

Boot into safe mode if ya can. Look at your Private Message I try and help ya
