Thats not true. I hate what Obama plans to do to the country. As a guy I dont have any problem with him. Just wish he would keep his shitty economic ideas out of office.

He is at least on the right track. Raising taxes at all is retarded in a recession. Thats along with tightening the money supply is what fucked us during the depression. If Obama cant comprehend that then theres a serious problem.

The topic of economic policy is not something you want to debate on. Obama is dead wrong and just about everyone knows it. If you would like to talk about social issues then thats a whole different animal and I am with Obama on many of them but to even hint that he may be correct on his economic stance is just plain stupid.

McCain's plan is not perfect but when you weigh cutting taxes vs raising them and you side with raising them in a recession then please return to microeconomics 101 and come back once you have learned something.

People seem to forget about all of the terrorists out there that would love to see Bush assassinated who are probably much better trained, have the funding and the insanity to try it. Yes there are some organized racist groups that would like to see Obama taken out, but as people said before the Secret Service knows what they are doing.

Chances are you will hear of people like those two dumb rednecks that got arrested a week or so ago but people like those two do not really pose a credible threat.

Honestly you're insane, this is the most whacked out thing I have read stamped out of your idiotic keyboard in a while.

My Dear Sir, the thing that distinguished me from you isn't that I'm smart or talented or superior in you in some organic way. It is the fact that I AM honest, that, for some reason I have been brutally honest with myself from, to borrow an expression, 'day one' and that was. now, some time ago. Thinking back on it, I take that back. I remember why just now. I was raised to believe in a dude by the name of God and I was told that He knew every thing I thought or would ever think, and that no matter how tricky or deceptive or cleaver I could be with my fellow three brained beings, I would never ever be able to con him.

So I set out, even at something of a young age, to brutally confront myself with the consequence that such a habit was established as to become reflexive and autonomic. The ultimate consequence of such self reflective analysis was, in my poor pathetic case, the realization that everything I, you, and everybody else in the world has been taught, are nothing but bull shit and lies.

So My Dear Sir, by this means did I arrive one day, in a most unusual place. I came to the bottom of my tea cup, I became empty of everything you can lose but that which can't ever be taken. And do you know what that is?

Ah, but never mind about that. Let me just tell you this. When you know that you know nothing, you know everything you will ever need. It opens the door to seeing because your blinders are gone.

So, My Dear Sir, as it happens, I know and can see things you can't possibly imagine, still stuffed so full of yourself. While I know nothing myself, and have little real understanding, I do, I believe, have an open window where the wisdom of the ages can sometimes fly in.

And the data I supplied you, regarding your hidden wishes, is just such data crystallized and formulated by others out of deep inner wisdom and experience.

So remember, My Dear Sir, that when you chance upon real knowledge, as you very seldom have or will, it's going to look, in your ignorant state, like the wisdom of idiots, as indeed it is. For in fact if you are the one who knows something, than all the wise of the ages are complete and total fools.

OK, my Dear Sir, your man is losing and you're sad and depressed. I give you these words to cheer you up so you can giggle and laugh.

What got us OUT of the depression and through the war was money from the wealthiest 1% in America. You ever look at tax rates for that era and that bracket? Something like 90%...

So Republicans' ideas of trickle down economics, which are a fucking farce and only serve to line the pockets of Good Old executives, are obviously the better idea here? The only raising taxes Obama's got planned is returning the highest bracket to previous levels. Let me get this straight, you support Reagan/Bush style tax reform? Granted, Bush lowered taxes across the board, but then again he's got shit like TIPRA to his name...

Wrong. What got us out of the depression was the war. The only reason we could sustain the war was because of our crazy strong manufacturing base. That same base that fueled the war effort set us up nicely after the war to be a huge exporter. Germany's, Japan's, Russia's and most of Europe's manufacturing was completely fucked after the war. That left us to export goods like crazy at almost whatever price we wanted.

We no longer have that manufacturing base because of all of the taxes and union support pushing companies to shove jobs overseas just to be able to compete with the foreigners. Many of our companies couldn't compete (steel industry?) and are now almost extinct in the US.

Because we dont want WW3 and even if we had it we wouldnt have the manufacturing base to support it we need a new way to get out of this. The best way to do that is through lowering taxes for EVERYONE which will result in less gov spending (something Obama and Dems hate) while increasing the money supply. Inflation should be kept in our minds while we do this but we cant let it be our primary concern. I dont know how knowledgeable you are about the financial system in the US but we were really REALLY close to a complete disaster when that fund broke the buck. The credit markets were/are completely screwed and the confidence in US companies has gone out the window. We are nowhere near out of this and if you elect someone who does the slightest thing wrong (economic policy wise) it could be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Agreed... I fear there will be more unemployed people. Remember in a bad economy, the poor are the ones to get hurt the most -- the very same ones, IMHO, that will vote for Obama. Getting laid off sucks especially if you are poor.
