postal mail being so much slower may cost only a little less.
let's look
3 lbs package priority 7.21
postal 5.71
it doesnt make sense lol but i GUESS IF YOU WANT TO SAVE A BUCK OR 2 YEA, postal maybe better for some who has the patient to wait for their package as well heh. I'd alway get asked how fast you want to get their rather then which would be better depending on cost 😀

The post office is a huge rip off for anything over a pound. I shipped a large box today weighing 8 pounds via airborne and it was $5.47. The usps would have been $10 or more. Airborne will get it there by Wednesday with real tracking too.

i suppose you're paying for ease of accesibility as postal offices are much easier to find. i find USPS rates when shipping out of state rather high considering it does not include any sort tracking service unless you pay for it.

True... I find UPS and FedEx MUCH cheaper for larger packages. However, USPS blows both of those out of the water in terms of lightweight packages. Throw in the free boxes they give you and you can't go wrong. I have about 500+ different USPS boxes in the garage, they are great.

I just wish UPS or FedEx would offer free Ground shipping boxes instead of just express shipping.

Just depends how fast you want to get it there.... not too hard to understand... one is slightly faster than the other.

Media Mail is slower than first class. It should be cheaper in that case...that's his point

ok, you're the dumbass here.

Media Mail is SLOWER than First class, thus why would anyone pay more for slower shipping times?

i would shoot myself before sending stuff with UPS. about half of times the package comes in with some heavy damage and then all those horror stories about UPS dropping the stuff on the doorstop and just leaving it there like nothing happened 😱 smaller stuff = priority mail, bigger stuff = fedEX <--- works for me.

Media Mail® service is a cost efficient way to mail books, sound recordings, recorded video tapes, printed music, and recorded computer-readable media (such as CDs, DVDs, and diskettes). Media Mail can not contain advertising except for incidental announcements of books. The maximum weight for Media Mail is 70 lbs.

Postcards, letters, and large envelopes can be sent using First-Class Mail®. This service, along with Priority Mail and Express Mail, can be used for personal correspondence, handwritten or typewritten letters, and bills or statements of account. It may also be used for advertisements and lightweight merchandise. The weight limit for First-Class Mail is 13 ounces. For heavier items, use Priority Mail.

I should have also said that it matters how heavy the item is, but in most cases you wouldn't be able to ship the same thing with both, IE an ebay item... you couldn't send it first class most likely, as it would be too heavy. Media mail is also used for shipping many many things at a time.

media mail is the shi^ with stupid restriction! it's next to crap parcel posty crappy yappy bunghole &wthaever bahadlfhasdf..as.df..
