usps is awesome for lightweight items, priority mail is cheap and its fast as heck. but for larger packages ups fedex are the way to go, even though they are slightly slower.

Just got a payment from someone today, and they live in Hawaii. I've been shipping all my media mail items are 1st class because of the stupid pricing, but I wonder how long it would take to get to hawaii otherwise :D

At least a month for media mail to Hawaii. I had an Ebay buyer insist I ship a DVD via media mail vs. 1st class since it was about $.20 cheaper (I charge exact shipping) even though he was told it would take much longer. Oh, well, a month later he left neutral feedback because it took a month to arrive. Moron.
