Bought the r200 a few days ago, the epson cd printing program that comes with it works, but it's pretty limited. Downloaded the SureThing trial and it's really nice. I was very impressed at how the first cd I printed with it turned out. No calibration needed at all. People have been pretty impressed at what I showed them. And that was just with a few minutes using a template. The cd's also seem to burn well, I've done about 25 so far, and the ink doesn't smudge if I burn after I print the label. Only wasted 4 disc's figuring out what looks best. Best $100 bucks I've spent in awhile
This week Best Buy has the 30pack Memorex Printable CD's for 11 bucks, which is a decent deal. This is the only printable media I've seen in B&M stores. I wish I could figure out a per cd printing cost including ink tho. $15 is the nomal price, still not too bad, I dislike Memorex media, but I don't see any other non On-Line options yet.
The printer comes with 6 full ink carts, not sure if all makers do this now, but I remember some older HP's use to come with the starter inks.
