Printable magnets

Makes me wonder if you could do this on a global scale you could alter the magnetic field of a planet to terraform it (hold an atmosphere in). I know its much more complicated than that..but you get the idea.
 
Cool magnets. I hadn't seen that series before, nicely done. They have an episode on the Curiosity rover, that thing's huge!
 
With my limited knowledge I can't tell if this whole thing will be gimmicky or revolutionary. I'm really curious if you can build a new type of electric motor with this technology.
 
I saw the thread title, thought, "big deal." Watched the video and thought, "holy shit! That's awesome!"
