Really, are we even complaining about cd-keys now?
Let's hope it doesn't actually get pirated more than say Assassin's Creed, or Ubisoft will be back to stricter DRM. From the comments on "certain" websites, it really does look like there is no DRM or cd-key required.

0 DRM. The game starts out strong, it seems like it will be immersive and flow, instead it's highly repetitive with an insanely shallow combat system and entirely unsatisfactory gameplay. It does look pretty though.

Would be really hard to tell because without any DRM plenty of people will just pass the disc between friends, no figuring out bittorrent required.

I'll pick up the game just to support the no DRM thing if it proves to be true.
do you DRM boycotters buy all games that have no DRM or just the good/popular ones that have no DRM?
it seems to me that you guys should be out there buying every drm-free game but i doubt that happens.
I'm not boycotting DRM. I'm boycotting intrusive DRM. Basic CD-Checks/cd-key is fine, securom in its lowest form is also fine (basically copy protection/cd check). What is not ok is when they start limiting the number of installs you can do, limit amount of activations. Why would I pay $50 to rent a game?
Generally I buy games from Stardock, Sins of a Solar Empire/GalCiv2. Latest games I bought was Fallout 3.
What he said.
Preventing average Joe to make copies for all his friends is ok, making it a huge pain in the ass for everyone except the pirates is a huge mistake.
