Nice race everyone!
Looks like I still have 4 in progress. Not sure how close/far they were from the deadline.

Looking forward to the race next month. Good turnout and a lot of fun.

Wow, those are some long WUs! I apparently got 69 points total, and none of them counted for the race because I didn't sign up properly. I'll be there next time!

Awesome! Welcome 🙂

I'll be interested in the production on that Mac Pro - that's a very nice hunk of technology 🙂

Thanks, I like it despite being almost 4.5 years old, runs stable and cool and is still plenty fast for my needs. I don't know how it compares to others but so far it can crunch based on my elapsed time (estimated seems broken):

PPS (Sieve) 1.39 - 21.5 hrs
Riesel LLR 6.13 - 49 hrs
Cullen/Woodall 1.12 - 13.5 hrs
Genefer 1.07 - 49.25 hrs
Prime Sierpinski 6.13 - 92.5 hrs
Seventeen or Bust 6.13 - 257 hrs!!

Just verified that it is the *insert explative* gigabyte GA-78LMT-SP2 rev 4.0 board that failed. Pulled the cpu, memory and psu and they all power up the other *explative* rev 4.0 board that I have.
So, the piece of garbage is just that, garbage. Off to the recycling center it goes.

Now to put the 960T and 555BE chips for sale. Free GA-78LMT-SP2 rev 4.01 board since I'm so frustrated with this thing I want it gone.

Had that board not failed I would have been in the top 40 (maybe top 35). ARG.

Bummer. Hardware failure is always bad but during a race is especially frustrating. 🙁

One of the mosfets fried. Glad it didn't start a fire. Definitely some charring went on. That right there is incentive to clean the dust out of my computers on a regular basis.
