The lowest FX combo will still be 600 USD, but you will then have each tier move down 1 step down the pyramid.

FX-72 Combo for 599USD
FX-74 Combo for 799USD

FX-70 EOL.

If you cared to read what I wrote, I'm looking for a price that is not "much more than the list price of $125" ($145 will satisfy me). Secondly, $125 price appears on quite a few lists (and that's more or less the only price shown in regards to E4400 and 04/22 date in those lists), therefore it's ok to call it a list price, IMHO. I'm fully aware that $125 is the Intel quoted price for large quantities. Thirdly, I'm not asking anyone to *tell* me anything, I'm soliciting information, e.g. from experiences with previous price cuts, regarding how quickly a particular price cut propagated into retail prices. Peace.

The list price for 1000 Unit Quantities for the E4400 is 133USD, on April 22nd, with the E4300 dropping to $113USD, expect to pay something like 140USD or so for the E4400 at first till prices normalize.

This is probably the best strategy.

I'm wanting one of those Intel quads when they hit $266 as scheduled. :D
