I knew that someone would be disappointed that the wallpapers aren't in UXGA resolution. 🙂
 
ja, those are some sweet pics. i've always been really interested in space since i was a little kid. it's too bad NASA lost some funding in their budget this year. 🙁
 
They are amazing accomplishments.. but sadly, they are very modified. Nasa even easily admits that all the photos are extensively colourized and saturated.

However, this must be done... since the photos are being taken over 2500 lightyears away from the actual device SAT. Wow 🙂

 
Thnx for the link man. I like the mice one. I don't like to have alot of colors in my wallpapers because of blending in with my icons, but black is always a good choice for me.
 
Anyone know how to get the extremely high resolution original? CAN you get them, or are they not available to the public?
