12ft RCA cables?

that would be helpful but I thought you got serious signal degradation with cables that terribly long?

can someone tell me at what length that starts happening? 6ft? 20ft? 50ft? miles?

Don't know about degredation but I had some 25' cables that work fine. I think the people who notice degredation at these lengths are the same ones that purchase those $200 cables because they can "hear" a difference.

Put a couple/few zeros at the end. I've seen $20,000 interconnect cables on websites.

hey guys, i been lookin at this: http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=FP206BK&cat=CAS
do u think its a good dela. also, is it going to control fans without a white (control) wire. So do u think i sould jump on this?

EDIT: nvm i just read a review and its not nearly as good as i thought it was. thanks

That's a great price on that controller. Bought one for about $25 a couple of months ago and it was cheaper than the identical Lian Li controllers. They work well, but aren't well documented so not easy to figure out what does what, and whether the settings will "stick." One problem I had was that these use PWM instead of pots to bleed off voltage. Benefit is tighter control, lower temps and better efficiency, but drawback for me is that they turned the LED fans into strobe lights. :Q

Great price on those little RC cars, so I got a couple, plus a couple HD fans, and an all-transparent case. Lowest price I've seen for one of those (and pretty cheap for a case in general). Hope it doesn't fall apart. 😉

T88-A--Radio Controlled Military Vehicle 1 $2.49 $2.49
8903--Radio Controlled Military Vehicle 1 $2.99 $2.99
RED-DUALHDDFAN--Hard Drive Cooler with Dual Fans (Red) 1 $3.95 $3.95
SIL-DUALHDDFAN--Hard Drive Cooler with Dual Fans (Silver) 1 $3.75 $3.75

Subtotal: $50.17
Sales Tax: $0.00
Shipping: $24.00

Grand Total: $74.17

Shipping was expensive because of the case.

refurb G450 16MB dual head $7 + $7 shipping(about)

The 3D is possibly OK for games from 3 years ago.

Computer Geeks is an outfit where the shipping doesn't jump by leaps and bounds, as some do, when you add more things. For instance, if you buy both cards the shipping is still $7.

hmm..why would anyone spend more on a G400 over a G450

it probably really doesnt matter, but i think the g400 has 128bit memory and the g450 has 64bit. the g400 i know is slightly faster in 3d, though i really doubt that matters at this point. the g450 was a newer version die shrink of the g400 and would concievably run cooler.

Because all you guys are lazy, I took the time to check the deals, here are some of the cool ones. 😛

$32.5 512MB Secure Digital
$27.5 DVD+-RW
$35 S775 Motherboard
$5 Numeric Keypad
$2 12 foot RCA cables
Red or blue LED 80mm fans, $4 each.
$109 8' LCD TV

And some really cheap RC toys, ranging from $4 boats, $2 skateboards, or $3 RC hummers.

None of these are really hot, I suppose they would of made good stocking stuffers, but it is a day late for that 🙂

Best price I have EVAR seen for an 8' lcd tv! 😛

Audio patch cables it isn't the length, but the total capacitance of the cable, and thats a per foot thing, but varies a LOT depending on construction and materials. So a 20 foot cable could actually have a lower capacitance than a 2 foot cable. The output resistance of the source, capacitance of the cable, and input resistance of the destination make a simple RC low pass filter, and you get less signal at higher frequencies. Without a lot of audio baloney I'll just say I prefer to use a cable made with a twisted pair instead of coax.

This looks hot to me, its a e.sata case and pci controller for $9.99, some issues apparently are its uses a ATA not a SATA drive, and a firewire connector (that seemed novel at the time of most reviews I read from a year or so ago), but $16 shipped has to be hot. Looking for more goodies to share the shipping cost, so tell me if its a bad thing to buy, but also don't buy them all if its really hot. Zoomfly has just the case for $24.

Foo, adding the 99 cent adapter bracket bumped the shipping $6 to $12.

or if you want your drink warm, I drink tea and found I had to go up to about 20 watts and a large contact area on the bottom of the cup to keep the temperature reasonable. Most cups have a ridge designed to minimize contact on the bottom. Unfortunately I am just short of being geek enough to drink from a beaker with a nice flat bottom.

Thanks Hank but I'm looking primarily for the attachment that makes it feel like a ps2 controller. Just the psp makes my hand hurt having that kind of angle.
