Yeah that rear view mirror will show you if anyone is sneaking up behind you. Of course if you are at work, they can watch everything you do anyway through the internet/network.

That paperless stapler has anyone ever used one of those? I'm just wondering how well it works.

As for being usefull, some of it is. Like the video ram heatsinks. Or if you have a really really really really old computer that needs a serial mouse instead of a ps2 mouse, you might need that adapter. 🙂

Make sure your LCD monitor has the standard VESA mount holes and the mount should fit.

yeah, mine does. I am not concerned about whether it will fit. I am just wondering if anyone has experience with the quality of this unit. The cheapest ones at New egg are around 80 bucks and this one is half that. I guess one reason for that might be because in order to raise the level of the screen, you have to move it further away from you. The newegg ones look like they are more adjustable. I just don't want to spend 40 bucks and then have a it break.

I just became very disappointed with Geeks.com I got a psp accesory kit, usb to ps/2 adapter, and a cheap ten dollar headset. Price 39 bucks(great!) ground shipping 20 dollars. 🙁

How could it be $20 for ground shipping? Are you out in the boondocks? I see that you're in Missouri (I'm in Chicago) and my shipping only came to $10 for a lot more stuff that what you ordered or were considering ordering.

I'm just as shocked, I live in Springfield MO, so it's not the "boondocks"

here is the screenshot of the order that I didn't order going plain slow ground, cheapest option

I didn't mean "boondocks" as a slam. I was just trying to figure out why your shipping would be double, especially since you live west of me and closer to Computer Geeks.

Are you sure that you selected ground service?

I think the Altec Lansing headphones are the problem. When you go to buy them it gives you this message:

"The following item will ship directly from the manufacturer via FedEx in a separate shipment:

AHP212W-DT

You will receive one Order Number, but you will receive separate Shipping Confirmation email messages with different tracking numbers. A signature will be required upon delivery of this item."

Try ordering a different pair of headphones (one that doesn't ship from the manufacturer), and see if you are still having the problem.

Lol I understand, hell I thought ok maybe if I add a 1 gig of ram for $132 bucks bring the charge up to 171 it might be cheaper, nope, it costs 7 more dollars to send a 1 gig stick of ram.....

That's crazy. If you find out why your shipping is so much higher, let us know.

It was the combination of the usb to ps/2 adaptor and the headset. With one or the other it took the shipping from 7 to 14 with both bumped it to 20. They must have them coming from different places. Just getting the psp accesory kit costs 7 bucks for the shipping. So that's all I'm ordering 😀

Wierd shipping costs made me not order as well. I live less than 20 miles from Geeks, added a 8 oz bracket to my order and shipping went from $6 to $12.

Just go pick it up you lazy bum!

That's what I plan on doing if I order anything heavy.

BTW, I received my PS2 -> Xbox controller adapters and my Logitech wireless PS2 controllers, along with my USB hub and something else that I can't think of right now. $90

I ordered rechargeable batteries yesterday, along with a USB charger, and an adapter to power a USB device from a wall outlet (to avoid putting anymore strain on my itty bitty 350W PSU). $30

dumpydooby: If its a quality 350watt you should have no problem. I.e. if it actually gives out the 350 watts it says it can. If its a cheap crap 350w that came with the case, odds are it cant even put out 300w. Also it depends if you have a reasonably modern system. The new AMD64 chips (or the semprons) are pretty low power, whereas older AMD chips are pretty hot and power hungry. Or if you have 2x 6800 Ultra SLI cards, those take up a huge chunk of power, whereas a single 6600GT isn't that bad for power.

I'm guessing the USB charger is probably fairly slow which means it won't take too much power.
