No matter who wins in November this country is in for a world of hurt. If you think the McCain-Palin ticket will guide us through it best vote for em or if you think the Obama-Biden ticket will guide us through it best vote for em.

I am unaware of anyone outside of McCain's campaign and its surrogates who has said that he did anything to help the deal along, and there are people from both sides saying he's just caused trouble. What do you have to back up what you're saying?
McCain: "I am suspending my campaign until a deal on the bailout is reached, and we're going to delay Friday's debate."
Obama: "I plan on debating Friday."

Unlike you, I genuinely don't have a side, CAD. I'm just voting you doublethinking authoritarian dittoheads out before you do any more damage to this great country. Your side has lost ALL sense of accountability, so I am forced to give the other side a chance.
And case in point, the Dems will wait until after the debate to claim victory. While the Pubs decide beforehand! Which is, of course, why you ignore the fact that McCain pauses and bumbles just as much as Obama does. Hell, just as much as any other politician does. That's just what people do when they know that millions hang upon their every single word.

I bet he's gambling that he'll out-perform Obama, based on the fact that this debate plays to where he's strongest (foreign policy) and despite the impossibly-high hype surrounding Barack, he's never really been stellar at unscripted debate (at least he wasn't in the primaries). by getting the debate in the news all week, more people might be tuning in than would have otherwise, especially since Friday nights are such a tv wasteland.

Whoa there tiger- You seem to be forgetting the conversation we had a week or so ago. I stuck with the party to try to change it. I'm sick of getting stuck with what we have so I am doing the responsible thing based on my ideology(Conservative) and that is registering a protest vote(barr/RP/etc) so that my voice can be counted as against the GOP as of late. Bring back the GOP of '94 and I'll be back with them as a party and support them.
Unfortunately some people who claim to be Conservative or Libertarian don't want their voice heard as against bigger gov't and are going to vote BHO. It's sickening to think they will throw away their ideals and hop on with those who'd stated policy it is to grow gov't.
So yeah I suppose in your deluded world, I'm in denial but back here in the real world - we all see that it's you who is in denial. You can keep trying to play the independent or libertarian card all you want but you've turning into nothing more than your average BHO fluffer.
